Hi Shanora,Tell us a little about yourself?
I'm the bestselling author of the Hard to Resist series, the FireNine series and the book Beware. I write Contemporary romances as well as some Erotica. I love books, writing (duh. lol) and coffee and chocolate!
How would you describe your books?
My books have a mix of a lot of things. There's some angst, some drama, a ton of love/romance, and a lot of steam.
What genre is your work mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you hoping ( if not already ) to explore new ventures?
I
love to write about whatever pops up. Whether it's contemporary or
erotica or paranormal and fantasy - I love it all. My main is
Contemporary.SHANORA WILLIAMS

What genre is your work mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you hoping ( if not already ) to explore new ventures?
Do you have any advice for other writers?
I've learned while publishing that patience is key. Take your time and work hard. Write for yourself and no one else.
Is it hard to come up with new idea's
and / or plot's?
It's actually really easy to come up with the ideas and plots, but much harder to actually get started and make it live up to what I want it to be.
What inspired you to write your book?
My mother inspired me. She was a night writer and when all the kids would go to sleep she'd stay up and miss out on sleep that she needed just to write. I've always been a fan of reading and writing and seeing her be so passionate about it made me really want to have a go at it.
Who is the easiest character to write for and Why? Hardest and why?
The easiest had to have been Gage Grendel from my FireNine series. My hardest had to have been Ace Crow from Beware. Ace was tough because he was a true bad a** and I had to really go out of the box with him because he did things I never would do or tolerate.
What is your favorite movie?
There's a tie between Law Abiding Citizen and 300.
Without giving anything away, what is / are your favourite scenes in yourbook (s)?
The "steamy" scenes. *wink wink*
How about characters? Are they easily born and developed?
Characters
are actually a tough one. Sometimes I want them to come out a certain
way but they end up completely different. I end up battling with how I
wanted them to be and how they want to be.
How long does it take you to complete a novel from concept to completion?
The max would be four months.
Beware
was really realistic. I actually dated a guy that was a complete
bad ass. Every girl loves a bad boy and I was head over heels for him.
I'm glad I straightened up and realised he wasn't good for me but I
don't regret my experience with him because it helped me put that into
words.
Yes. Plenty of novels.
Do you have a special time or place to write?
Which one of your awesome books would you like to see be made in to a movie?
Yes. Plenty of novels.
Do you have a special time or place to write?
Before I was a huge night writer and would write all night but now that I have a baby I try and write whenever I can. haha.
Which one of your awesome books would you like to see be made in to a movie?
I think I'd like to see Beware made into a movie.
What was the worse job you ever done?
Working in a fast food restaurant. I hated smelling like fried food.
Do you ever get any ideas at random moments, and if so how do you hand on to them?
Yes all the time and when they pop up I'll write them in my notes so I don't forget.
Can
you write on demand and under pressure, or do you need time and space
before the creativity starts to flow and how do you over come writers
block?
I
can, but I'd prefer to have time. Writer's block is hard to get over,
but usually I'll listen to music, write out some plots, or just start
writing and see if it helps get the writing juices flowing.
